Unfit to Occupy
Well, my husband is the one feeling a little bit stressed right now, and I’m up here giggling. He’s downstairs swearing at the toilet, so I figure that I’m safer up here just out of shouting distance. The chain for our toilet broke last night, and my husband is trying to fix it. He’s a wonderful guy, but not particularly handy, and this is our first home. Apparently, he has the whole toilet pulled apart (after asking me which way to turn the bolt to loosen it), and is having problems trying to put it back together. The main problem being that when flushed, it now discharges large quantities of water on the floor. Even with my very limited plumbing experience, I’m pretty sure that’s not how it’s supposed to work. I suppose I should go and help him. I’m glad we have other toilets in the house, because this small project may turn into an all nighter.
